Transferring to a different school? You'll be pleased to know that GCC membership can be seamlessly transferred from one active GCC chapter to another.

To initiate the transfer process, obtain a letter from your current school's principal or adviser confirming your membership. Additionally, ensure that you inform your new school of your GCC membership within 30 days of enrollment.

Upon notification, you'll be granted automatic membership; however, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria of your new school within a reasonable timeframe, typically one semester. It's important to note that your new school may have a different cumulative GPA requirement for membership.

Transferring as a Candidate

If you have been identified as a candidate for membership but have not yet been selected, you are not considered a GCC member. Therefore, there is no membership to transfer. In this case, you will need to familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria at your new school and inquire with the chapter adviser about the process for submitting a candidate information form to be considered for membership, provided that your cumulative GPA meets the chapter's academic requirement.
